RESEARCH GOALS
To collect arctic images of interest
to both physical and cultural geography courses taught at EOU.
To collect arctic sounds and conduct naturalistic interviews with
inhabitants of the Pt. Barrow Region.
To collect phenomenological input so as to seed ideas for writing
within the arctic perceptual domain.
To establish a relationship with people in the area on behalf
of the Department of Geography and Land Studies and EOU.
OUTCOMES
A coloquium describing the overall
study.
Podcasts of interviews for the EOU Acoustic
Space website.
The development of a collection of images suitable for course
work enhancement.
