Seismic Activity and Animal Behavior SAABS

Welcome to the SAABS research site. The purpose of this site is to collect data on the behaviors of domesticated and feral animals prior to and during an earthquake. People who have observed animals prior to a seismic event and during a seismic event are encouraged to submit their observations to SAABS. This research is not limited to mammals out doors. Bees are of a particular focus in this research as well as poultry. This data is being analyzed as a continuing qualitative study.
