Geographic Image Analysis Project

What you will need for this project.
A. A camera with film so you can take a picture.
B. Paper and word processor so you can write about the picture you took.
C. Your text and the content of this course so you can interpret the image you took.
D. Note: The Picture must be your own, composed and shot by you.

What you will do in this project.
A. take a series of pictures that are of subjects that are of interest to you that exhibit some strong characteristic of physical geography. This could be lithographic, it could be atmospheric.

B. After you develop the pictures, choose one of the pictures and study what is going on in the picture.
Be prepared to give an explanation of where the subject in the picture is, what the subject is about, why it is where its at. Be as detailed as possible. Consider the following ORCTAP analysis protocol:
Object Recognition, Changes, Technical Information, Anomalous, Placement

Object Recognition
Changes within a sequence of images
Technical Information, the surficial geology of the target
Anomalous character or phenomenon within the target image
Placement of the objects within the foreground, middle, and background of the picture

C. Use the presentation model below to produce your project.

D. You may use colour or black and white film.

E. PLACE ALL ASSIGNMENTS IN A Plastic Cover Sheet with notebook holes.
