Information about Laura Mahrt
My earliest childhood memories are of catching
reptiles and amphibians in Georgia. Since then I have worked with
Salamanders of the Smokie Mts, stinkpot turtles, checkered garter snakes,
tree lizards, and spotted frogs.
My current research has involved the population
biology of spotted frogs in Eastern Oregon. I have been following
a large population for the last 5 years. I am obtaining information
of the oviposition, movement patterns and survivorship. |
