All units of the Ladd Marsh Wildlife Area except Refuges and Safety Zones are open to hunting Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and State Holidays during the pheasant, quail and waterfowl seasons. Motorized travel is prohibited. The area is closed between 10:00 pm and 4:00 am. Leaving decoys set out overnight (10:00 am – 4:00 am) is prohibited. Non-motorized boats are permitted. Possession or use of shot other than federally-approved nontoxic shot is prohibited at all times, except for authorized big game hunting (See Big Game Regulations for details).
The Glass Hill Unit (open April 11 - January 31) is open to hunting during any authorized season with the appropriate licenses or tags. Motorized travel is prohibited. Parking permits will be required beginning in January 2012.
