Welcome to Environmental Health and Safety at EOU.
EH & S provides a host of services specific
to each division:
Animal Care and Use Facility:
Monitor and manage animal care and use at or above state and federal guidelines. Staff members work closely with faculty and students to ensure proper and humane care for all laboratory animals within the university's domain.
Campus Security:
Facilitates a safe and secure community for students, faculty, staff and visitors of the EOU campus. Patrols campus grounds and buildings, enforces campus parking regulations and may provide security for on-site, EOU sponsored events.
Environmental Health and Safety:
Monitors and reports on all on-campus safety concerns related but not limited to: environmental air and water quality, campus buildings and facilities, monitoring of chemical stores and emergency planning activities.
Risk Management:
Works with The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and other parties to ensure proper insurance coverage for the university.
