Dr. Danny R. Mielke
Dr. Mielke has been a Professor at Eastern Oregon University since 1987. He has served as Coordinator of the Physical Education and Health degree program since 1988. He currently serves as the Division Chair of the Physical Activity and Health program within the College of Education.
Dr. Mielke's current research interests are in health insurance as a consumer health issue. He is now researching the impact of trends toward evidence based health and how it will affect consumers as they select appropriate health care.
In addition, Dr. Mielke also continues his work in Sport Science and recently published an article in the International Journal of Sport Science and Coaching, for which he also serves as the associate editor.
