An important part of becoming a tutor is reflecting on your own learning style and temperment. To that end, you will complete two assessment tools available online through the Career Services website.

Click on Assessment and Planning.

Click on Online Career Assessments.

Complete these two inventories that you will find on the menu: The VARK and Humanmetrics Typology Test.

For the the "how I learn" VARK (Visual, Aural, Read-Write, Kinesthetic)) Activity:

Click on "VARK: A Starter Kit for Learning Styles"
Complete the Questionnaire
Record your dominant learning style preference (or preferences if you have a tie)
Print out help sheets for your learning style preference(s)For Personality

For "Personality Type" Activity:

Go back to "Online Career Assessments" menu
Click on "Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test"
Complete Questionnaire
Get Results
Print out Results
Go back to "Online Career Assessments" menu
Click on "Type Profiles" and "Personality Type Summary" and print out information on your type.

On Campus students should bring the print out of results to class.

All students should complete the VARK/Personality Inventory Reflection.

On Campus students will bring their Reflections to class.

Online students will post their Reflections on Discussion Board.
