Wear your jeans this Friday, October, 8, 2004 and donate $5
to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
October 8, 2004, marks the eighth annual Lee National Demin Day.
The goal for 2004 is to raise $7.5 million for the
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and that can start right here at EOU.
On
Friday, October 8, 2004, $5 will go further than ever. It may go all the
way to finding a cure for Breast Cancer! Before you get your next paycheck,
more than 8,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. In fact, more
than 215,000 Americans will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
Friday,
October 8 is Lee National Denim Day, the world's largest single-day
fundraiser for breast cancer research! Simply donate $5 and wear your jeans
to work. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation receives 100% of all
donations to fund breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
Eastern
Oregon University, the WRRC and SAGE is proud to support this
important and worthwhile event. Contact Katie Ann at ladouck@eou.edu,
