Craig Lesley Reading
Tuesday, April 21, 7:00 p.m., Pierce Library Reference Room

Highlighting our celebration of National Library Week will be a
reading by noted author Craig Lesley. His novels explore the tenuous coexistence between whites and Native Americans in the northwest United States.

Craig is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest. He has spent
much of his life exploring the outdoors, including an eight-year stint with the Deschutes River Guide Service in Oregon. His first novel, Winterkill, was followed by River Song, The Sky Fisherman, and Storm
Riders. Both Storm Riders and The Sky Fisherman were nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Lesley's writing has received three Pacific Northwest Bookseller's Association Awards, The Western Writers of America Best Novel of the Year, and the Medicine Pipe Bearer's Award.
