EOU prof to teach where theatre was born [The Observer]

Eastern Oregon University theater professor April Curtis is preparing for the teaching opportunity of a lifetime. Curtis has been selected to teach for 12 weeks in the cradle of western theater — Greece. Curtis will teach in Greece next fall through the AHA International studies program. She has been selected by AHA's Northwest Council on Studies Abroad. She is one of two professors chosen by the program to teach in Greece next fall.


Science Center progres linked to EOU Web site [EOU release]

The history of the Science Center project underway on the Eastern Oregon University campus is only a click away on a newly-created web page. Developed by EOU web specialist Gary Moses and Construction Manager Charles Arvidson, the page is available at www.eou.edu/scibuild/. The page features construction progress updates written by Arvidson, along with pictures he has taken since the project started.


Giving tree produces Christmas presents [EOU release]
The Eastern Oregon University President's Office is full of Christmas presents donated to the Giving Tree. More than 100 presents are wrapped and being stored in every space available. The presents will go to people at Evergreen Health and Rehab, the Blue Mountain Humane Society, the Salvation Army, Twin Firs Retirement Center, Wildflower Lodge, and Evergreen Vista Health Center.


ISB to hold Dec. 6 open house [EOU release]
The community is cordially invited to attend the Integrated Services Building Open House from noon to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6. The building, located at 1607 Gekeler Lane, represents an innovative partnership between Eastern Oregon University, the Department of Human Services, developers, contractors and the community to better serve the people of Northeast Oregon.
