EOU student interns with Trail Blazers [EOU release]
Dreams are within the grasp of any student persuing higher education. Just ask Robert Page. The 22-year-old Eastern Oregon University senior from Vancouver, Wash., received a season-long internship with the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers and started working in the physical training department at the Rose Garden on Sept. 24.
Creighton delivers first President's Service Club Luncheon address

Eastern Oregon University President Phil Creighton reviewed the present and looked into the future with more than 60 community representatives Thursday at the first President's Service Club Luncheon in Hoke Hall. Creighton, giving an annual state-of-the-campus address, spoke of the upcoming science addition at Badgley Hall, the new dormitory, the planned University Services bulding and how EOU and the community could help one another for a long-term relationship with La Grande and Union County.
