Live Mountaineer football returns to the Internet [EOU release]
Eastern Oregon University football fans far and wide will once again be able to tune in a Mountaineer game broadcast live on the Internet. Starting Saturday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m., live coverage provided by KCMB radio of EOU's game against the University of Montana-Western will be broadcast on EOU's Web site at www.eou.edu/webcast.
Walkathon to benefit OHSU/EOU nursing students [EOU release]
The second annual Dr. Rita Short Monahan walkathon will be held at the Eastern Oregon University track on Sept. 29, 2001. The walkathon, in honor of the late Dr. Monahan, was started by the Oregon Health and Science University La Grande nursing class of 2000 who raised over four thousand dollars for the fund named in her honor.
