CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY: One of the new pieces of equipment in the research lab is a light carousel
centrifuge. Here, Anne Greenlee demonstrates how the LightCycler® works. Tiny capillary tubes are placed
in the carousel, which then transmits the information onto a computer monitor. Greenlee has been using such
equipment to study the embryonic stem cells of mice.
