EOU Jazz and African Drumming ensembles perform tonight in Groth Recital Hall

The EOU Jazz Ensemble and African Drumming Ensemble will give an informal
presentation of works in progress Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in Groth
Recital Hall.

The African Drumming Ensembles are directed by Dr. John
McKinnon and Dr. Teun Fetz. The Jazz Ensemble is directed by Dr. Matt
Cooper and features trumpet, saxophone, flute, violin, vibraphone, piano, bass and drums. Composers featured will include John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, John Scofield, Charlie Parker, and George Gershwin. There is no admission charge. For more information call 962-3559.
