Student Activities presented the EOU History Club with an Outstanding Club Award on Tuesday, June 13, during the first Student Club/Organization Recognition Program ever held at EOU. Organizers hope the event will be the first of what will become an annual celebration of campus clubs and their achievements.

Members of the Associated Students of EOU student government are acknowledged for their accomplishments during the past year. From left are Stephen Kalb, Jessie
Zimmerer, Ben Calhoun, Anna Bacon, John Galliano and Sadie Isley.
The International Student Association presented a slide-show highlighting community-related projects such as the International Dinner and Show and the classes they help
teach at Think Link, a discovery museum for children. From left are Taivan Sarangerel,
Muhiba Rabejanova, Farruh Madaminov, and Doctor A Ayeliya, front.

The EOU Polo Club was also named as an Outstanding Club in 2006. From left, Marie Wilson and Brett Emmert, both members of the club, accept the award from Sadie Isley, president of ASEOU. Past Outstanding Club award recipients will soon be displayed on
a plaque outside of the Student Activities office.
