LA GRANDE – If a gourmet breakfast accompanied by uplifting spirituals and gospel choral music sounds like the perfect Sunday morning, then mark your calendar for the Gospel Brunch, May 21, at the Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on the corner of Spring and 6th Street.
The event will showcase the remarkable musical talents of the Eastern Oregon University Chamber Choir and the exceptional culinary flair of All Occasion Caterers. The choir aims to uplift, inspire, and entertain with a program of 15 different musical selections. The brunch menu includes breakfast casserole, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits with gravy or homemade jelly, fruit, fried potatoes, coffee and breakfast punch.
This event is sure to fill the stomach, feed the soul, and will help the EOU Chamber Choir raise funds for their Spring 2007 tour to China. There will be two sittings for the breakfast and concert, with the first “Gospel” Brunch at 9 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m. Both sittings will be limited to 100 people, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the EOU Bookstore and Sunflower Books.
