Kenn
Wheeler
Kenn is Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts who considers himself a theatre generalist. His areas of concentration would include musical theatre and directing, but he also designs scenery, and teaches acting. He received his BA from Southern Utah University and his MFA from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. His most recent projects included directing and designing the scenery for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Deadwood Dick, or the Game of Gold for the EOU Community School of the Arts. In February of 2003, his production of Hole In the Sky was chosen to participate in the American College Theatre Festival in. Before coming to Eastern, Kenn was the Theatre Program Director at Treasure Valley Community College, where he spent six years teaching, directing and performing. Favorite projects have included The Music Man, The Lion In Winter, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Kenn considers his greatest productions to be his three daughters, Jennifer, Jessica and Jillian. He and his wife, Denise are still working on making them the best that they can be. |
