Tanya Trottier Directing My name is Tanya Marie Trottier. I was born March 31 in the town of Mesa, AZ to David Earl Trottier and Betty-Jo Ann Kelley (Now Jo Ann Gauer). From the beginning my Mom said I had a love for performing. My first role was that of baby Jesus during my first Christmas. In elementary school I developed a love for music when I began playing the cello. My first taste of the stage, when I was old enough to remember, came when the director of the children's Christmas pageant askedme if I would take the lead role. After that I couldn't get enough. I joined the drama program at my high school and performed in a musical review. When I graduated I went on to college, but then had to drop out. After several years without being on stage the bug bit me again. Since being at Eastern I have worked back stage for most of the shows. Crucible is the second show I have acted in at EOU, the first was as Emma Goldman in Assassins. Next year I will be finishing up with my Directing degree and my minor in Music, then I hope to go onto grad school. Hopefully I will act in a few more shows before I leave. |
