Trea Sirius Taylor was born in the city of roses aka Portland, Oregon and has lived there most of her adventurous life. Her current hobbies are pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. She is currently studying Theatre Arts and Mathematics at Eastern Oregon University, enjoying the weather, and participating in her favorite obsession: reading. When Trea was six years of age she would gather her cousins and direct them in remarkably wearisome performances for all her relatives to see. More current works include her trip to Edinburgh, Scotland (with her high school theatre troupe) where she performed in the annual Fringe Festival as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2003. This past year she has been recovering from knee surgery but was still able to participate in the theatre programs. Trea directed a one-act play Sorry, Wrong Number in her school's annual one-act play festival in spring 2004. She has been to three consecutive high school regional acting competitions and had the pleasure of directing and choreographing a musical number for her first competition. Throughout her high school career Trea has acted in ten main stage productions including Working, Hink, Jr and Les Miserables student edition, Cinderella, Anything Goes and Hello Dolly!. Trea received a varsity letter and honors cord in Theatre Arts during her time at Westview High School. She has also received an award in fall 2002 at the Improv Festival hosted by Tualatin High School. Trea was very involved with set construction during her junior year and contributed more than eighty hours, along with sweat and blood, into the stage. She's very passionate about theatre, math, reading and the environment. |
