Taylor Stanley

Directing

Taylor Stanley was born in Hillsboro, OR on the morning of April 8th. She spent the first 6 years of her life living in Hillsboro with her parents and little sister who came four years after her. When her parents decided to move to Bend she started elementary school at Kingston Elementary. She then spent the next 8 years moving from school to school in places like Bend, Scottsdale, AZ, Spray, OR and finally Fossil, OR. But while she lived in AZ, she found something that would follow her all the way through grade school, high school, and right into college: her love of theatre. Her first performance was Fiddler on the Roof where she played “A Russian” and had two speaking lines. Then came Guys and Dolls, where was deemed “Bertha, the Missionary” (she opted for a solely dancing role instead). But as she advanced through grade school and high school she had the honor of being in such plays as Snoopy, Ladies of the Mop, The Diary of Anne Frank, Footloose at Columbia Gorge School of Theatre, and Murder-Go-Round in which she had her first lead role. Now as a freshman at EOU, Taylor diligently working towards a B.A. in both Business Administration and Theatre Arts with an emphasis in directing.
