Taylor Pawley

Directing

Taylor Pawley was born Taylor Stanley in Hillsboro, OR on the morning of April 8th. She spent the first 14 years of her life living moving from place to place and school to school in such exotic locales as Hillsboro, OR, Bend, OR, Scottsdale, AZ, Spray, OR and finally Fossil, OR. But while she lived in AZ, she found something that would follow her all the way through high school, and right into college: her love of theatre. Her first performance was Fiddler on the Roof where she played “A Russian” and had two speaking lines. Then came Guys and Dolls, where was deemed “Bertha, the Missionary” (she opted for a solely dancing role instead). But as she advanced through grade school and high school she had the honor of being in such plays as Snoopy, Ladies of the Mop, The Diary of Anne Frank, Footloose at Columbia Gorge School of Theatre, and Murder-Go-Round in which she had her first lead role. She has been married to her high school sweetheart since September 2008 and together they plan to travel the world after graduation. Now as a senior at EOU, Taylor is diligently working towards a B.S. in both Business Marketing and Theatre Directing with hopes of directing in Winter term 2011 and graduating in March of that year.
