"My first experiences with the stage were in high school, though I was most actively involved in theater between 1990 and 1994 while in college at Michigan State University.  There I studied mathematics and physics in the day before running off to one community theater or another for evening rehearsals.  Some of my more memorable shows during that time were "Pippin" and "Man of La Mancha" with Riverwalk Theater and "Amadeus" with the Lansing Civic Players.  Between 1994 and 2002, I went on a theatrical hiatus as I earned my Ph.D. and wandered about the country looking for work.  After making the circuit from Michigan to Washington to Connecticut to Minnesota, I have finally settled in Oregon and I am thrilled to once again be in a position to reacquaint myself with the stage."
