I was born in Pendleton Oregon, where I lived until the age of 5 and then moved several times to places that included, Wallowa, LaGrande and then Union, where I attended junior high and high school. Throughout high school, I didn't get the chance to participate in much theatre. There wasn't a big theatre program, so basically, I got the chance to embarrass myself as a musical flute playing squirrel (yes, that's right, squirrel) in Snow White and I also got the very fun role of the Tin Man in an all women performance of The Wizard of Oz. I came to Eastern specifically to be in the chamber choir and had planned to major in special education. That lasted for about a year and then after one term of acting and being blessed with the chance to perform in Another Broadway Christmas, in Decemebr, 2004 (my first "real" show), I knew that there was nothing that was going to make me happier then performing. So I am currently a junior, majoring in theatre performance, with a passion for musical theatre. I love any opportunity to sing or dance, but my dream of course is to perform in Broadway. Although off-Broadway shows and touring companies would also be a dream come true, but I know as long as I get the chance to perform, I will be happy. A enormous thanks to my parents, Tony and Cynthia Pagliarulo and Marty Sasser, my grandparents, Don and Maryann Woodward and Zelmer Sasser, Stephanie, Adrienne, Dave and the rest of my family for all of the love and support of my love for theatre and my crazy dreams of making it on Broadway. Without you I would not be where I am today. |
