Ginger Ranslam Stage Management Ginger Ranslam was born in The Dalles, OR in July of 1985 to Jane and Donald Ranslam. Growing up with one older sister there was a lot of drama and a lot of singing going on. She loved choir in elementary school and participated in all the school plays she could. In Middle School she had the option of choosing choir or band, and chose band. So, in high school, she continued in band, playing the clarinet and trumpet. Although theatre was still around, she did not get involved. Instead she played volleyball and softball. Although it was not part of her school life, she still continued singing, even if it was just in the car or the shower. Her senior year she was able to fit choir into her schedule and rekindled her love of singing and performing. In college, she did not take any interest in theatre, except for watching the productions. In the spring of her freshmen year, she took a set construction class and began working with the spring musical doing fly crew. This ultimately inspired her to take more theatre classes and get involved. Her first ever EOU production was Big River. It was a great experience for her creating a very strong love for musical theatre. During the summer of 2005, she also appeared in Deadwood Dick or the Game of Gold. With a major in Psychology she hopes to be influencing others lives in a positive way on and off the stage. |
