Daniel Wagner

Performance

I have lived most of my life in Triangle Lake, Oregon, though I have spent some years in Bolivia and Germany. I did some plays in my high school, including Lethal Lecture, Frumpled Fairy Tales, and Up the Stage Over, but it wasn’t until I came to EOU in Fall 2011 and performed in The Phantom of the Opera that I was really bit by the theatre bug. I developed a passion for bringing stories to life through motion, emotion, words and music. My goal is to explore the human condition, bring truth to light, and better myself through my work. While at EOU, I have also played, Sidney Bruhl in Deathtrap, the title role in Richard III, and Leon Czolgosz in Assassins. I have also participated in several student film, radio, and stage productions, and written some short plays. I am currently a sophomore at EOU, and plan to graduate with a double major in Performance and Film Production, and a minor in Spanish. After graduating, I plan on entering advertising, either in front of the camera or designing the graphics. I would like to thank Jack Schlea for introducing me to the joys of theatre, Ken Bush for honing and developing my skills, Kenn Wheeler for encouraging me to follow my passion, and everyone in the department for taking me in to their family of theatre.
