Courtney O'Brien

Performance

Courtney O’Brien was born and raised in La Grande, Oregon. She began dancing at the age of three when her mother enrolled her in her first ballet class. She immediately fell in love with being on stage during dance recitals. When she was twelve years old she was in her first musical Fiddler on the Roof where she played a chorus member. Ever since that experience she has taken any opportunity she can to perform. Courtney is majoring in theatre with a performance emphasis and plans to graduate in the spring of 2013. While at EOU she has had the chance to play many roles, her favorite being “Squeaky” Fromme in Assassins. After college she plans to continue acting but also to peruse her love of dance and possibly get another degree in dance performance.
