I first got involved in Theatre when I was in a lighting class and was helping out with the lighting for Big River. I thought it was fascinating to me. I found myself wanting to do something like that, because it looked like so much fun. I thought to myself that I could do something like that, even though I did not have any acting experience, and had never been ina play before.  During high school, I was not really interested in acting or being in the choir, even though my parents and my sister tried to convince me to go out for it.  Then one day I was registering for my classes and my advisor said that I needed to take a fun class. She said, “How about acting”? I said I would give it try to see if I liked it or not. When fall term came around, I went to my Acting I class to try it out and after a week I started to get into it.  One day while working, I saw a sign that said, “Auditions for Coyote Tales”, so I asked my acting professor, April Curtis about it and she asked me if I was going audition. So I did it, not knowing what to expect.  I went out and did what ever they told me to do even though it was embarrassing. After a while, I was of having a lot fun, even though I was doing some weird and crazy stuff.  After a two-day audition, I found out that I had gotten a part in Coyote Tales and I was shocked and very happy..  After that, I really got into acting.  I am very glad to be part of the theatre program.
