Nick Romriell I was born in Nampa, Idaho in 1980 to a wonderful set of parents. They did their best to raise me in a good environment and one where I could grow and explore my talents. At three, my family moved to Payette, Idaho. Since I was 12, I've had a love for music. In fact, that's about all I did from middle school through the end of high school. It wasn't until my senior year at Payette High School that I finally tried out for a play (I was honestly scared to death of acting). My first musical was "Bye Bye Birdie" and I played Harvey Johnson and the Bar Tender. I found that when music and acting were combined, I wasn't as afraid to get up on stage. After high school, I took some time off, working, writing music, and learning as many instruments as I could get my hands on. In 2001, I began attending TVCC in Ontairo, Oregon as a music major but also participated in musicals trying my hand out as a Protean in "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum". The next year I played Marcellus in "The Music Man". My final year I broadened my horizons a bit playing as Anthony Marston in "Ten Little Indians", and Lucentio in "The Taming of the Shrew". I recently returned from a two year mission in Florionopolis, Brazil for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where I had countless growing experiences. I have recently declared my major as Theatre and look forward to the next two years here at EOU learning all I can about this most exquisite art form. I'd like to thank, first and foremost, God for blessing me with all that I have been given, my parents for their constant support all these years, and also the Wheeler family for truly showing me just how much fun theatre can be! |
