Matthew Wells
I was born on the afternoon of April 3rd, 1989 in Portland, OR. My family moved around a lot when I was younger and we finally settled in Anchorage, AK.. By the time my family had reloacted to Yakima, WA, I really began to get into theatre in high school when I took over my small catholic school's drama program and began writing, directing and starring in the annual shows. When I was 16, a traveling group from New York passed through and I landed a part in an off-broadway production of Tony N' Tina's Wedding playing Johnny, the groom's younger brother. After my first paying acting job was over, I got a part in a TV series based in Washington, which unfortunately flopped. After that it was a few community theatre shows, including Arsenic and Old Lace, and a couple music videos which aired on the MTV networks. I came to Eastern to major in theatre and then hopefully get noticed somehow and maybe see my name up in lights someday. The most inspiring actors to me are Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton, Jared Leto,and Johhny Depp. |
