Michael Frasier Muisc Instructor/Choir Director
(Continued from first page) During his career Mike has appeared on stage in High School, University, Community, and Summer Stock productions in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Among the favorites of his over 35 roles are Harold Hill (The Music Man), John Adams (1776), Archibald Craven (Secret Garden), King Herod (Jesus Christ Superstar), Pseudolus (A Funny Thing Happened of the Way To The Forum), Sancho Panza (Man of La Mancha), Charlie Brown (You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown) and Judge Turpin (Sweeney Todd). In addition to his acting credits, Mike has directed or served as musical director for an additional 35 shows. His favorite directing credits include: West Side Story, Into The Woods, The Fantasticks, Guys and Dolls, Godspell, Pippin, Annie, Grease, My Fair Lady and The Last Five Years. Mike is still unsure of what he wants to do when he grows up. His first career encompassed 30 years of teaching public school, and his second career has spanned the last 9 years at EOU. When his time at EOU is done he is unsure of his plans, but they will probably include a beach, a golf course, his wife Martha, and of course, some theatre. Mike would like to thank his family, wife Martha (EOU 1986 and 1999), and sons Devin (EOU 2010) and Jared (PSU 2011) for their love and support. And to all the collaborators, teachers and cast members with whom I have worked and shared a love of theatre, thank you for making me a better performer, director, musician and person. |
