Lindsay Kathryn Freeland was born in Auburn, Alabama in July, 1985 to Lisa and Michael Freeland. She has a brother, Graham, who is just three years younger than her. She attended Great Falls High School in Great Falls, Montana. She became actively involved in the theatre department at GFHS and worked on numerous plays there, mainly on set crew and backstage. She graduated from GFHS in 2004. Lindsay has become actively involved in the EOU theatre department both in acting, backstage work, and the theatre club. Her first shows at Eastern were Opera Comique and Talking With. In 2005, she was in a couple small shows such as the playwriting series, and a show that touched Vietnam stories. Also in 2005, she helped out behind the scenes as a stage hand for Arms and the Man, plus was an assistant painter for Big River. In 2006 she was a stage hand and a rigger for The Pirates of Penzance. Other than theatre, her life revolves around the Army National Guard and hopes to major in Media Arts with a minor in theatre. Her advice is a famous quote from John Wayne, “Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.”
