Jeff S. Press Directing Jeff S. Press was raised in Southern California in Palmdale and Lancaster. After attending community college for two years, he moved to Oregon to attend Eastern Oregon University. He will be graduating in the spring of 2011 with two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Theatre with an emphasis in Directing and another in Psychology. Press discovered his passion for acting during his junior year of high school, when he got the role of Grocery Boy in The Children’s Hour. Since then, he has known that he would be a part of it for the rest of his life. Even during his time living in Sydney, Australia he could not stay away from the stage. While there, Press performed in several improvisational shows, among other theatrical performances at the University of New South Wales. Shortly after his return, he discovered that his passion for theatre included directing as well. His plans post graduation from EOU are to receive an MFA in directing and continuing acting and directing for as long as possible. |
