Jay Laurance Performance
I was born in Gresham, Oregon but grew up in Billings, MT. I graduated second in my class from Shepherd High School. I have always loved theatre and my first year here was in "Pirates of Penzance" and "Spring into Broadway". My sophomore year, I found my passion for the stage in the acting classes. In April 2008, I played Belle in the Elgin Opera House production of "Beauty and the Beast". I also acted in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Boys' Life" during my junior year. I owe all of my success to the blessings of God; I wouldn't be where I am without God's direction. I'm getting an emphasis in acting and directing, hopefully graduating in fall 2011. I plan to move to Seattle to get some experience, but my dream is to travel all around the country to work in different theatre environments and meet new people. |
