Allan Sanada Lighting Design
Hello my name is Allan Sanada. I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I am currently a student majoring in Theatre. I came to Eastern Oregon University with little or no theatre experience. My first theatre class was during my sophomore year: THEA 250-Acting One. It was then I discovered how theatre was fun and exciting. So I decided to take more classes in theatre, such as Technical Theatre, Costume, Set Construction and even Theatre History, to name a few. After taking classes in theatre I had found that lighting and scenic design were areas that really sparked my interested. Some of the plays in which I helped include costumes for the plays, Medea and Big River , and sets for A Midsummer’s Night Dream. During the fall of 2008 I was asked to help in a production of A Year with Frog and Toad as a stage manger. My goal is to continue my education and get a master’s degree in Lighting Design. My dream goal is to be a light designer. |
