The Testing Center will be in Badgley Hall, room 105, available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm by appointment. Please contact the testing department at testing@eou.edu to inform us of your name, the day/time of the course/exam# and we will reserve a computer for you. Please bring a piece of photo ID with you. You will not be allowed to test without it.
Please show respect for all test sites and follow the EOU policy of no cell phones, IPOD's, PDA's, MP3's, etc.
If you are needing to establish an off-campus proctor, please email us at testing@eou.edu and provide your zip code. We will then reply with a list of possible proctors in your area to contact for more information. You may also select your own proctor.
Approved proctors can be instructors or administrators at a college,
university, public or private school, educational directors at
corporations, librarians, etc. Proctored exams must be taken in a public setting, not in private domains.

The Proctor Information Form (link in upper right-hand corner) is for submitting contact information for a proctor candidate. This form needs to be completed by you or the proctor and submitted for review. The proctor's information is then reviewed and confirmed via the web page for the proctor's work site, and then entered into our database for current and future use.
EOU Online course exams require internet access at the testing site. EOU Internet Technicians recomend that the Mozilla/Firefox browser to be on your proctor’s PC. Please confirm with your chosen proctor that they have or will download the free browser to their PC.
Some exams
require the Respondus Lockdown browser (please check your course syllabus). If so, you are permitted to use your
own laptop to test on and you can download the free program from:
http://www.respondus.com/lockdown/informationb.pl?ID=46123462
After submitting your Proctor Information form, you will want to submit an Exam Request form (link in upper right-hand corner). When processed, the proctoring information is emailed to the proctor, and at the same time, the student receives an email explaining the exam restrictions and a notification that the exam is ready. It is the student's responsibility to make testing appointments with the proctor and make sure that the exams are taken on schedule.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to call our Testing Center at 541-962-3788.
