Tech-Fee Committee Minutes

March 9, 2004

Minutes:

Tech Fee Committee met on this date at 7:00 am in Pierce Library 114.

Minutes from the March 4, 2004 meeting approved as submitted.

Email vote approved using $66,000.00 of the remaining maintenance budget to fund the balance of the "Augment Science Center AV" project that was approved for funding next year.  Committee also approved the purchase of twelve 48 computer tables for the Computer Science lab from the maintenance budget.  The balance of the maintenance budget will be spent on consumables.

Clarification was made regarding the purchase of paper and toners for Tech Fee printers with Tech Fee funds.  The decision was:  Toners - yes, Paper - no.

Work will continue on the Proposal Submission form for the Web and drafts will be sent to entire committee for review as the process continues.

The next meeting will be early Fall Term.  Date and time will be decided on after the start of Fall Term.
