Minutes:

Tech Fee Committee met on this date at 7:00am in Library 114 to hear

presentations from authors of various proposals for funding.

Minutes from February 9, 2001 meeting were approved as submitted.

Anna informed the committee that the Provost’s Office has purchased

(from the Tech Fee Account) the three used printers that were recently

removed from the Pierce and Learning Center Labs.  The printers were no

longer appropriate for use in the labs, but should be fine for use in

individual offices.  They were purchased for a total of $500.00 on an

“as is” basis.

Anna reported that she had talked with Richard Hermens regarding what

equipment has been included in the budget for the new science building.

According to Dr. Hermens, any excess funds available after the building

is completed will be designated for equipment, but there is no guarantee

that there will be any excess.

Darlene Morgan has been out of town so Anna has been unable to get any

more information on the Equipment Reserve Account.  She will continue to

pursue this issue.

Proposals by the following individuals were presented and explained:

Debra Spidal and Shirley Roberts – Library

 John McKinnon – Music

 Penny Diebel – OSU Ag/Business

 Chip Ettinger – Psychology

Sally Click and Thatcher Carter – Career Center and Testing Center

Meeting Adjourned at 9:00am.
