Strategic Planning:

Transforming The University Through Strategic Planning

How does the University plan its programs, earmark its resources, or spend its budget? How do we assure that we are moving in one direction to fulfill the mission? How do we know when we have met its purposes? Strategic planning is designed to connect the mission with action.

Dividing the mission into major themes, identifying the major goals under each theme, describing the aims that will achieve goals, posting the strategic plan of the University and action plans of the units, listing the potential funding strategies, and noting the indicators that set the benchmarks for each goal and aim. The full cycle of University planning culminates with the reporting of outcomes and in the analyses of data.
