The Residence Life Program is an administrative unit within the Office of Student Affairs and is responsible for the on-campus housing facilities and services. A trained student staff in each residence hall assists residents in the development of social, recreational and educational programs as well as providing information on university-wide resources.
A wide range of events and activities are planned by residents and staff in each facility. Dances, cookouts, game tournaments, coffee nights, open mic, and involvement in the intramural sports program have been popular activities. Residents also have the opportunity to be involved in the planning of activities, hall government and resident judicial system. The Residence Life Program strongly encourages student involvement and leadership within the Residence Halls.
It is the intent of the Residence Life Program to offer convenient, comfortable and community based housing in a program that enhances a student's total university experience. The Residence Life Program includes a co-ed traditional residence hall, co-ed super suite style residence halls, and a co-ed apartment style suite facility for upper class or older students. A variety of room options and meal programs are available. The Residence Life Office also manages 16 student family apartments.
