Each academic year Eastern Oregon University initiates a program for student health insurance. We believe this program provides improved coverage at a lower cost to our students. The health insurance program has two components: a Basic Coverage for which all on-campus and on-site (CUESTE: Undergraduate Teacher Education Program at TVCC, BMCC, MHCC or SWOCC, and MAT: Master of Arts in Teaching Program) students registered for 6 or more on-campus credits will be assessed; and an Optional Supplemental Benefit Plan which students may elect to purchase for an additional fee.
Regardless of other coverage, the mandatory basic student health insurance may not be waived.
At this time, on-line students are not eligible to participate in the Student Health Insurance Program.
