NEW BUSINESS

Minutes from last meeting approved as submitted.

801's and accident reports:
-One employee accident, hit head on rim of barrel. Went to Dr. with no time loss.
-One employee accident, leaned back in chair, chair tipped and the back of chair broke. Employee hit a partition. Bruised and sore back. No medical attention.

-One non-employee accident at the pool, person ran into guard stand. Minor injury, band-aid applied to forehead, gauze to back of head.

-One volunteer accident. Ken Wheeler had a young man working for him who hit his head on the riser coming down from the light booth. His mother took him to the hospital. Discussed the importance of having the volunteer form signed to help avoid huge liabilities.

No new safety grams.

Building Inspections:
-Jeff and Ken Watson inspected the library, very few problems, shifted items which had to do with moving. No fire extinguishers close on 2nd floor, may need an additional one. Ken will check out.
-Irene and Steve inspected Hunt Hall. No evacuation signs posted. ----Student Health is not open yet.
-Vicki hopes to get Loso inspected and Sue hopes to get Zabel inspected before next meeting.

Next meeting scheduled for September 9, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
