New Safety Grams

 

Vickie Lee will be submitting a safety gram regarding the 6th street entrance, as you turn into the Badgley parking lot, a bush blocks the view creating a hazard.   The bush needs to be trimmed back.

The weapons policy is still pending.    We're waiting for a ruling regarding what constitutes a concealed weapon and other concerns, a case is pending in one of the larger schools.

 

Building inspections:   Mike Rhodes is in the process of finding building managers for the different buildings.   Once we know who they are, we can discuss the building inspections with them, to see if they would be willing to help.   Security is willing to do inspections as they make their rounds.

 

The safety committee went through the inspection check list, and made recommendations.   There may be a need for different check lists for different buildings.              

 

Next meeting is scheduled for September 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
