Parking Services

Campus Parking

There are ‘dedicated’ parking spaces in every lot for students, faculty, and staff.  These spaces are clearly marked with signs and are available on a first-come-first-served basis.  Purchasing a permit for the year or the term allows you to park in an appropriate dedicated parking space.

EOU parking permits are required on all campus streets and in all campus parking lots.

  • Most parking regulations are enforced Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Some, like ADA spaces, are enforced 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • EOU parking permits are not required on weekends or holidays except around the resident halls.
  • Permits are required around the resident halls at all times.
  • EOU permits are not required for vehicles with a valid, state-issued ADA permit.
  • EOU permits are not required to park outside the boundaries of campus or in the Community Stadium parking lot.

Types of parking permits available for purchase

  • Annual Parking Pass: $84
  • Term Parking Pass: $35
    • Permit holders are able to park in spaces dedicated to faculty (EOU faculty only), staff (all other employees), or students, depending on which category best describes you.

    • Annual and term permit holders may not park in reserved spaces or in the east Badgley parking lot.
  • Annual Reserved Parking Space: $321
    • You will be assigned a space that is yours and it will be marked with a sign.
    • You may not park in any other space unless the one that is assigned to you has another vehicle parked in it.
    • If someone is parked in your space, call Security and we will investigate and take appropriate enforcement action.

  • One Day Parking Permit: $2
    • These are available from the Student Financial Services office (Inlow 101) or from the parking kiosk in front of Loso Hall.
    • These permits allow parking in any general space in any lot but do not allow you to park in a reserved space or in a dedicated faculty space.
    • Daily permits are also valid for all spaces marked “visitor” and also allow you to park in any of the spaces located in the center of the east Badgley parking lot.

Parking Citations & Appeals

Parking citations are issued Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fine for parking without a permit is $25.

An appeal of a parking citation may be submitted to the Parking Appeals committee for review. The committee has students, staff and faculty members who hear the appeal and render a decision.  To appeal a traffic citation, you must either fill out this online form or submit a Parking Citation Appeal Form to the Parking Appeals Committee.

Forms may be delivered to the Student Financial Services office in Inlow Hall 101 or emailed to parkingappeals@eou.edu.

If you have any questions or concerns about parking on the EOU campus, please call Campus Security at (541) 962-3911.
