Academic Breaks

Thanksgiving Break

November 21-23, 2012

The residence halls stay open, but dining services will be closed. Residents do not need to notify Residence Life of their intent to stay and there is no additional cost if a resident chooses to stay on campus.

Winter Break

December 8, 2012-January 6, 2013

Students must notify the Residence Life Office if they intend to stay anytime past 2:00 pm of Friday on Finals Week. Students may notify Residence Life by completing the Application for Residency During Vacation Period form on OrgSync. Residents will be charged $10 per day beginning the Saturday after Finals Week and ending the Sunday prior to classes commencing. The residence halls reopen for Winter term on Sunday, January 6, 2013. The first meal served is dinner on Sunday.

Spring Break

March 23, 2013-March 31, 2013

Students must notify the Residence Life Office if they intend to stay anytime past 2:00 pm of Friday on Finals Week. Students may notify Residence Life by completing the Application for Residency During Vacation Period form on OrgSync. Residents will be charged $10 per day beginning the Saturday after Finals Week and ending the Sunday prior to classes commencing. The residence halls reopen for Spring term on Sunday, March 31, 2013. The first meal served is dinner on Sunday.

Summer Break

Beginning June 15, 2013

Students must notify the Residence Life Office if they intend to stay anytime past 2:00 pm of Friday on Finals Week. Residents wishing to stay during summer to attend summer courses, please see Summer Housing.
