Theme & Opening Session:
"We Can Be Heroes!"

Guest Presenter: John Remington, Language Arts and Theater Instructor at Pendleton High School

Grant funding guarantees the 2005 event will occur as scheduled.

For all students 3rd through 12th grades:

Chaperones are invited to attend workshops with their students, and one teacher-inservice session will be offered (preference form for chaperones attending with upper-level students or interested in the inservice session). CPDUs are available.

Grades 7 through 12 and Inservice:
10:00 Session A

3:00 Revision Session
3:30 - 4:00 Open Mic and Closing

$30 per student. Chaperones attend for free.

The registration fee includes the opening session, workshops, T-shirt logo and CD anthology.
Participants should bring snacks and lunch.

The registration deadline March 1, 2005, but please register early to take advantage of funding opportunities and session selection.

Scholarships are available and bussin and/or travel funding may be available on a first-come first-served basis. Please indicate interest on the registration form.

Those registering online must mail checks or money orders made out to "OWP at Eastern" and postmarked by March 1st to Oregon Writing Project, EOU, Loso Hall, One University Blvd., La Grande, OR 97850.
