2006 Invitational Summer Writing Institute

(6 graduate credits)

 

 

 

Application procedure:

 

  1. Letter describing your experience and strengths as a teacher of writing or someone who employs writing to teaching a content area.
  2. Current resume.
  3. Letter of recommendation and support from your principal or other district official indicating administrative support for your efforts to develop a writing program in your classroom and committing to two days of release time for you each year for writing project follow-up meetings, in addition to any other release time provided by the teacher's contract. (Sample letter available.)

 

Selected participants will be acknowledged with a letter of confirmation, the date for a required orientation meeting, a contract, maps, and additional information.
