The Blue Mountain Writers hosts First Thursday literary events. The August 7 event will be an open mic beginning at 7:30 PM in the La Grande Public Library Colleen Johnson Community Room, 2006 Fourth Street (on the north side of the building). Writers are encouraged to bring work in progress. Acoustic music is also welcome.
