Is there a special session for "non-traditional" students?

For all new EOU students, New Student Orientation is the beginning of the academic year and the beginning of your education at Eastern Oregon University.  New Student Orientation is designed to facilitate your successful transition to the University by familiarizing you with the services available to you as a student.  A special session will be scheduled specifically for our non-traditional students, however, you are welcome to attend any event scheduled during the week.

Are parents or family members required to come to New Student Orientation with their student?

Parents and families are not required to attend Orientation, however, they are welcome to attend a special parent and family program.

What if I have a disability and need accommodations to attend New Student Orientation events?

When can I move into my residence hall?

Move-In is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22 beginning at 9:00 am.  EOU Administrators, Athletes, and Orientation Leaders will be available to help you unload and move boxes.  If you have questions about Move-In, please contact Residence Life at 541-962-3553.

How can I get more information about the New Student Orientation schedule?

You can view a current Orientation schedule from the New Student Orientation web site.  If you have any questions, please call 541-962-3473.

Do I need to RSVP?

There is no need to RSVP.  On Thursday, September 23, you will have an opportunity to check-in for orientation.
