ACCESSING EOU E-MAIL
When you become admitted, you’ll receive an EOU e-mail address. Check and respond to messages sent to it regularly – even before classes begin – so you don’t miss a thing!
For more information and FAQs, see www.eou.edu/it/eou-student-e-mail.
Webster is EOU’s student portal where you view and update your personal information, add or drop courses, view your academic records and financial aid, and find your academic advisor.
Logging into Webster:
- Go to www.eou.edu/it/webster
- Enter your User ID (student ID beginning with 910 provided in your admission letter)
- Enter your PIN (your birthday in the format YYMMDD; you can change this later)
- Remember to click Exit when done!
When you register for a class, you should be able to access Blackboard the next business day.
Logging into Blackboard:
- Go to blackboard.eou.edu
- Enter your username (the portion of your e-mail address before @eou.edu)
- Enter your password (your birthday in the following format: YYMMDD)
New to Blackboard? It’s important to know that not all EOU instructors use it and your course(s) may not be visible to you until the first day of class. For more essentials, including tutorials, visit www.eou.edu/bb.
Apply for financial aid!
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov anytime after January 1 every year. The EOU school code is 003193. Apply early, as some financial aid funds are limited. For answers about financial aid at EOU, please visit www.eou.edu/fao, contact our Financial Aid Office at email@example.com, or call toll free 800-452-8639 or 541-962-3550. Notification of financial aid will be sent as early as March.

Submit your enrollment deposit
Submit your non-refundable $50 enrollment deposit online or mail a check to: Student Accounts Office, One University Blvd., La Grande, OR 97850. You can also call with your credit card number at 541-962-3590.
This deposit confirms you will begin at EOU for the term admitted and it will be credited toward your tuition and fees. It is a down payment to hold your place among newly admitted students and signals action by other enrollment related offices to assist you.
Setting up your Revolving Charge Account
- Login to your Webster account and click the Student and Financial Aid tab
- Select Student Account, then click Start a Revolving Charge Account Contract
- Complete the form and hit submit (don’t forget to accept the Terms and Conditions)
As an admitted student, you are assigned a personal academic advisor who will work with you to create a college plan and get registered for the classes you need to complete your degree. Your advisor will also answer questions and explain whether or not you will need to take Accuplacer. E-mail email@example.com or call 800-544-2195.
Freshmen may begin registering at 6 p.m. Friday, May 4.
Participation in our Degree Planning Workshop is required for online students only and may be completed online or at a live location near you. Cost is $50. Contact your advisor or Dee Toland at firstname.lastname@example.org for registration information.
