The EOU Multicultural Center develops and delivers programs and services designed to support and retain students from socially and culturally diverse backgrounds. The Center provides students a place to engage in multicultural activities and offers an inclusive educational environment that nurtures cross cultural communication and fosters the exchange of diverse perspectives and ideals.   

Multicultural Center Goals:

• To foster within the University community a respect for and an appreciation towards the history, traditions, and cultures of EOU students.
• To promote an educational environment that supports an individual’s ability to embrace different ideas, perspectives and world views.   
• To provide a space for people to share, experience and celebrate diversity.
• To serve as a resource for faculty and staff attempting to understand, address and support traditionally underrepresented students in the educational process.
